Our logo embodies our approach—a confluence of the classic elements of running, the sense of community, and the charm of Cubbon Park. Through layered tracks, the bandstand, and the park’s pink blossoms, it celebrates connection, movement, and all that defines the spirit of the Cubbon Classic.
For our founder, it started with experiences in European marathons, where ordinary streets transformed into celebrations—music on every corner, families cheering, entire blocks erupting like festivals, turning every corner into a stage. That’s when he realized a race could be more than competition; it could bring a city together.
Back in Bengaluru, we saw the same passion and energy, but also gaps. While races here carried heart and commitment, many were limited by scale or resources. The city had the potential for something even more expansive. An experience designed with both runners and the city in mind. One that flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
For eight years, we worked behind the scenes, timing over 200 events across India. We watched the running movement grow stronger each year. We saw people commit to early mornings, long miles, and finish lines that tested everything they had. We were proud to support that growth, and kept asking: how can we design an experience that brings this city together?
This city, which has worn many crowns—the Garden City, the Lake City, the Silicon Valley of India, the Startup Capital. Could it accommodate one more? One that doesn’t take from it, but gives back to it. In 2025, the team began piecing this puzzle together, and what emerged was The Cubbon Classic 10K— a professional, inspiring, and deeply connected event that brings together the classic elements of our city. Think of it as our ode to this ever-changing city we call home.
