When is the Cubbon Classic 10K scheduled?
The inaugural Cubbon Classic 10K will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
What race distances are available?
We currently offer one main distance:
The Cubbon Classic 10K (Timed): For competitive runners who want an official finish time, built on a professionally measured, AIMS-Certified course.
What is included in the registration fee?
Every participant receives a premium Race Kit, which includes an official event T-shirt, a high quality finishers medal, a race bib with timing chip, post-race refreshments, access to the post-race finisher’s festival, and a personalized e-certificate.
Can I register as part of a corporate team or running club?
Yes! We encourage group participation. We offer special discounted registration packages for Corporate Teams and have the Ultimate Running Club Challenge with dedicated leaderboards and prizes. Please contact us at team@cubbonclassic.com for group pricing.

What is the Ultimate Running Club Challenge?
This is a dedicated competition category for registered running clubs and communities. Clubs can compete for bragging rights, dedicated trophies, and the fastest cumulative time.
How does my running club register for the Challenge?
Your club captain or organizer must register the club officially in the event website www.cubbonclassic.com. All members must then enter the club code in their individual registration process to ensure their times count toward the club’s cumulative total.
Are there any restrictions on club size?
No, there are no restrictions on maximum club size. However, the top fastest times (e.g., top 7 male and top 3 female runners) from each club will be used to calculate the final average club time rankings.
Course & Logistics
Get all details about the certified route, start and finish points, aid stations, and on-ground facilities for a smooth race experience.
Where is the start and finish line located?
Both the start and finish lines will be at the Kanteerava Stadium complex, ensuring easy access to baggage facilities, parking, and the post-race finisher’s festival.
Will there be a baggage counter present in the event venue?
Yes, there will be a secure, supervised baggage counter present in the event venue for all registered participants.
Is the 10K course officially certified?
Yes, the Cubbon Classic 10K course is AIMS-Certified. This means it has been professionally measured and is globally recognized, making your finish time accurate and valid for qualification in other major races.
Will there be hydration/aid stations on the course?
Yes, aid stations providing water, energy drinks, and basic medical support will be available approximately every 2.5 km along the 10K route.
Will there be pacer support for the 10K?
Absolutely. We will have experienced pacers available for various goal times, helping you maintain your speed and achieve your Personal Best (PB).
Post-Race & Experience
Celebrate your finish with medals, refreshments, and the vibrant Finisher’s Festival featuring food, music, and entertainment.
What happens after I cross the finish line?
You will receive your official finisher’s medal, water, and immediate refreshments. You can then proceed to the Finisher’s Festival, featuring food stalls, live local music, the Storytelling Tent, and dedicated partner zones.
How will I receive my race results and timing certificate?
Results will be available on the event website shortly after the race. Your personalized e-certificate will be available for download within 48 hours of the event.
Event Identity
What does "habba" mean, and why is it part of the event?
“Habba” is a Kannada word meaning “festival” or “celebration.” We use it because the Cubbon Classic is more than just a race; it’s a festival celebrating the spirit of Bengaluru, its runners, and its unique culture.
Is this a one-time event?
No. The Cubbon Classic 10K is designed to be Bengaluru’s annual signature running event, becoming a tradition for the city’s running community.
